That looks great! (Hi, first time reader, and first time homeowner, with lots of race bibs too!). I've saved all of my bibs, but not hanging up, I like what you've done! Thanks for some home decor inspiration.

I love the variety of things you did with your race swag. I also can't bear to part with mine and right now I have a giant bulletin board with all my bibs pinned and medals hanging from tacks, but I'm seriously running out of room. I love the coat hanger and the curtain wire idea!

bib goes in the garbage as soon as I get home, medal is saved for a big race (HIM or IM) to hand out to little kids or volunteers and race shirts and given away or handed down to sons. Yup even the IM finisher one - looks better on him anyway. :) i'll generally save a big IM medal for volunteers on the next year's course.

Great display!
I am not too sentimental about my race stuff. In fact, rather than donate to Goodwill, there is a great cause out there: http://medals4mettle.org/
Our worldwide network of physicians and volunteers then awards these
medals attached to a Medals4Mettle ribbon to children and adults
fighting debilitating illnesses who might not be able to run a race, but
are in a race of their own just to continue to live their life. It is
in honor of this mettle and courage in bravely facing these challenges
that they are awarded a medal.
